BOLD. UNEXPECTED. VISIBLE. Our La Colombiana Short was inspired by Dude Girl's 2017 cycling adventure in Colombia. In the high mountain village of Jérico, bold hues and their unexpected combinations linked houses lining village streets. Sometimes one color connected two different houses, as if neighbors had shared a can of paint. Sometimes two or three oddly-paired colors partitioned a house in half or into uneven thirds. We brought the impression home with us, and applied it to a western emblem combining our roots with our modern day explorations.
